used to be的用法

used to be意思是过去常常做某事。从其形式上可以看出，to 为动词不定式，其后要跟动词原形。

eg: He used to sleep at nine.

其否定形式是didn't use to/usedn't to do

疑问句形式是did sb use to do sth 

used to be的用法

Used to：过去经常做的事情（但是现在已经不做了）

这里的to是不定式，因此后面要跟动词原形

用法：used to + V（原型）

I used to play with my friends after school.

过去放学后我常常和朋友们一起玩。

否定：

I used not to play with my friends after school.

过去放学后我不会常常和朋友一起玩。

要注意的是，由于used to表示过去的某个常做的事情，因此句子中是不会加入次数（例如：three times），时间段（例如：five years，two mouths）的。

There used to be public executions.

关于used to be的用法：

一般地，不论什么时候，短语used to be都要保持used形式的固定结构，意义才对。

包含used的基本句型可有以下3 个。

1、 used to do /be(过去常常做、过去是) 过去做什么，现在不做。

(在 used to be结构中，当有了did存在时，我们就说use to，而可以不使用d. 当没有did存在时，我们就要说used to，使用这个带d的.)

2、 be used to doing 习惯于做什么

3、 be used to do 被用于（用来）做什么

陈述句：I used to be a teacher.

否定句：I didn’t use to be a teacher.

疑问句：Did you use to be a teacher? 或 usedyou to be a teacher?

Did you use to... 你过去常……吗? 和“Are you used to...”不同。
